PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar stated that while they are not refusing negotiations, the talks must be unconditional.
Speaking to the media—as reported by the private TV channel Geo News—Barrister Gohar emphasized that the success of negotiations is vital for the country, the nation, and democracy. He asserted that neither Governor's Rule nor a state of emergency should be imposed, noting that the province is currently gripped by terrorism. He called for the release of arrested leaders and the facilitation of meetings with the PTI founder, adding that a doctor from London is not required for the founder's medical treatment, as such care is available in Lahore.

Barrister Gohar noted that the Prime Minister had offered conditional talks, whereas the government is imposing restrictions on the party. "We are political people, and political figures engage in unconditional dialogue; we have not refused negotiations, but they must be unconditional," he said.
He remarked that the government discussed internal matters publicly; had they devoted as much time to negotiations as they did to press conferences, the issue could have been resolved. He added that they are in contact with government members and are striving to find solutions through dialogue.
The PTI Chairman stated that no meeting took place with Mohsin Naqvi last night; instead, he met with Allama Nasir Abbas to consult on the All-Parties Conference. He agreed with Allama Raja Nasir Abbas that negotiations should not be conditional, reiterating that dialogue is the key to resolving issues.
A list of associates wishing to meet the PTI founder has been handed over to the Adiala Jail authorities.
