Authorities in Lahore are continuing anti-smog operations as the city prepares for the challenges associated with seasonal air pollution.

A report published on October 24 says the Environment Department has deployed anti-smog guns as part of its ongoing efforts.

Air pollution can affect public health, outdoor activities and daily commuting, particularly during periods of poor air quality. Alongside immediate measures, monitoring pollution sources and reducing harmful emissions remain important parts of a long-term response.

Residents should follow official air-quality advisories and take appropriate precautions, especially when conditions deteriorate.
